– Sustainable design. The reaction of the “traditional” design world to new ways of using eco-friendly design to reduce pollution and enhance the products aesthetic quality. Is eco-friendly design more of a design fad or a future standard?

Other Areas of Interest…

1.) Environmental contrast, specifically between the organic and the mechanical or industrial. I’m interested in the relationship between the two and the mutual dependence they share in order to fit into a functional and relevant part of society. What effect do these 2 environments have on each other, and what effects do they have on us? What role will manufactured environments play in our future, where’s the line between serene beauty and industrialization?

2.) Paranoia, hypochondria and other conditions of the human mind with the potential to cripple your social life without a foundation in fact.

3.) Experimental film, conveying a message or narrative in an abstracted way. (inspired by artist such as Stan Brakhage, Sheri wells, etc..)

4.) Cultural myths and superstitions. How these superstitions are passed down through generations and resonate through your life offering a small feeling of comfort or protection. The cultural differences between these superstitions is very interesting and often very telling of specific cultures and their history. Why is it often easier to place faith in objects or rituals then people? Do these practices have a positive or negative effect on the participant’s psyche/outlook?
